Kathmandu, July 13
The top brass of the main opposition Nepali Congress and the CPN-Maoist Centre has reached an understanding to table a no-confidence motion against incumbent Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli if the latter does not put in papers by 3 pm on Wednesday.
Maoist Member of Parliament Anita Pariyar informed about this understanding while talking to Onlinekhabar.
PM Oli said earlier he will face the Parliament instead of tendering his resignation. The ruling CPN-UML argues that the Parliament should seek a PM’s ouster as it is the one that elects a PM in the first place.
