One man has been arrested on the charge of killing his own by hitting him with a piece of firewood in Chandranigahapur of the Rautahat district in Madhesh.
Prakash Rai (32) killed his 55-year-old Nir Kumar Rai in Chandrapur municipality-6 of the district, informs DSP Santu Prasad Jayasawal of the Area Police Office.
Jayasawal says the man resorted to the attack during a domestic dispute. The father was rushed to the hospital with injuries on his head and forehead, but the doctors declared him dead.
Further investigation is underway.
