Two persons died in a collision involving a van and a motorbike, in Madhavnarayan municipality-3 of the Rautahat district in southern Nepal on Saturday evening.

The Magic van (Na 1 Ja 6749) and motorbike (Ba 39 Pa 8865) collided at Sakhuhawa along the Gaur-Chandrapur road section, informs the police.

The victims have been identified as Paramatma Prasad Sah (65) and Gaukaran Yadav (65), residents of Madhavnarayan municipality-2.

Riding on the bike, they sustained critical injuries in the accident and were rushed to a nearby hospital. They breathed their last there during treatment.

The Police say they have arrested the van driver, Mahammad Sahul MIya (27), a resident of Chandrapur-4.
