The Rastriya Janamorcha led by Chitra Bahadur KC has also won a local unit in Baglung district.
The party’s Krishna Paudel and Dil Kumari Pun were elected chairperson and vice-chairperson of Bareng Rural Municipality.
Paudel garnered 3,034 votes to defeat Pradeep Thapa Magar of Congress-Maoist alliance, who was restricted to 2,195 votes.
Likewise, Pun got 2,964 votes against 2,074 of Bishnu Khatri from Congress.
