Kathmandu, July 26

Rainfall is forecast for most places of the country for the next three days due to the influence of the monsoon wind.

Meteorologist Ganga Nagarkoti says light to moderate rain will take place in most of the places while heavy rain is predicted in some places as the low-pressure system is seen gradually advancing closer to the Tarai region of Nepal.

According to Nagarkoti, heavy rain is likely to occur in a few places of Sudurpaschim today due to this system. Likewise, there is the possibility of heavy rain in some places of Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces on Tuesday night.

Heavy rainfall is predicted in a few places of Province 1 and Bagmati.

On Wednesday, light to moderate rainfall is likely in many places throughout the country.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has urged for precaution in view of this.
