Kathmandu, August 17
RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has called a central committee meeting. The meeting has been scheduled for August 21 at the party’s central office in Banasthali.
Preparations are underway to nominate certain office-bearers and central members and put those nominations before the meeting for approval.
RSP still needs to nominate one vice-chairman, one general secretary, one deputy general secretary, one spokesperson, three deputy spokespersons, one treasurer, and two deputy treasurers. Twenty-seven secretariat members and 51 central members are also set to be nominated.
The party says central members have already been informed to attend the central committee meeting.
Previously, at the RSP central committee meeting held on 13 Saun, a proposal to make Balen Shah a senior leader was passed.
