Hetaunda, June 3
Province 3 Chief Minister Dor Mani Poudel has been admitted to a hospital for regular health checkup.
He was admitted to the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Kathmandu, for the heart checkup.
Seniormost member of the Province 3 Assembly, Poudel has multiple ailments including high blood pressure and sugar. He is now staying in the hospital for a week.
The 73-year-old CM had hectic schedules for 18 hours a day in the recent days.
Earlier, he had undergone an eye surgery at Hetaunda Community Hospital.
The CM’s secretariat informs that specialist doctors were attending the ailing CM Poudel.
Poudel’s press coordinator Prakash Dahal says his regular schedule has been cancelled for a week after the hospital admission.
