Hetaunda, June 7
Province 3 Chief Attorney, Surya Chandra Nyaupane, has resigned from his post.
Nyaupane’s resignation comes at a time when the Chief Minister Dor Mani Poudel is undergoing medical treatment after falling ill.
Nyaupane said he tendered his resignation to the Chief Minister through the province government chief secretary Ananda Raj Dhakal.
He said he resigned from his post as he was not able to work independently. He added that he could not get sufficient roles and responsibilities as a political appointee.
As per the law, the Province Chief approves the resignation of the Chief Attorney.
