Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has announced that the government is preparing to open the Dharahara to the public soon.
During an interaction with journalists from the infrastructure development beat at the Ministry in Singh Durbar on Wednesday, he stated that arrangements will be made within 100 days to allow people to enjoy the view from the Dharahara.
He expressed confidence that, although not all of the tower’s work is complete, necessary arrangements for visitors to climb the Dharahara will be made soon. “The government will ensure that within 100 days, arrangements will be in place for those who want to climb the tower. We are working to open some parts of Dharahara, but not all,” said Deputy Prime Minister Singh.
