Investigators claim YouTube sensation Santoshi Subba was murdered after she resisted a rape attempt.
Subba, who had gone viral on YouTube videos with her talent producing sounds of different animals and birds, was found dead in a forest in Dakshinkali in the southern outskirts of Kathmandu, on Tuesday.
Looking into the case, police say they have arrested one man named Sudesh Timsina, 21, who is accused of trying to rape and finally killing her after she resisted.
“First, he strangled her and later, hit something on her face to damage it to the level she is unidentifiable,” an investigator reveals the conclusion of the probe so far.
The case still awaits a detailed investigation.
