Police seized two kilograms of gold from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu.
SSP Somendra Singh Rathore stated that the Kathmandu Valley Crime Division in Kathmandu retrieved two kilograms of gold from Nagdhunga. According to him, this gold was being transported towards Kathmandu from Rasuwa.
Rathore said that the team, acting on a tip, confiscated the gold and arrested three individuals. The names of those arrested have not been released.
On Thursday night, 14 kilograms of gold from Dubai were seized at Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Kathmandu Valley Crime Division had also conducted a raid on a gold shop in New Road on December 6, recovering nearly 8 kilograms of illegal gold.
