Police arrest 21 gamblers in Kapan

Kathmandu, October 13

Nepal Police have arrested 21 gamblers in Kapan and confiscated around Rs 1.8 million from them. A team of officials from Bouddha Police Office arrested the gamblers from Kapan around 10 pm on Saturday night.

Bouddha Police says it caught the gamblers red-handed with the money. The gamblers are being kept at Bouddha Police Office as the police are recording their statements for further investigation.

Police say there are a lot of gambling dens around Bouddha area. Police previously had arrested industrialists and businessmen from the area for gambling in April.
