Kathmandu, September 21
Prime Minister Balen Shah held a meeting with leaders of the main opposition Nepali Congress. The Congress leaders went to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar to meet Prime Minister Shah.
Prime Minister Shah had invited the Congress leaders for discussions before his departure to address the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Bhim Raj Angdembe and Bishwa Prakash Sharma were also present at the meeting.
Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to leave for the United States tomorrow afternoon to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
