PM on his health: Fit to contest next elections

Fie: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu, August 21

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he will contest the next general elections also and give a tough challenge to the rivals. Pointing out at doubts about his health, PM Oli warned the opposition forces to get ready to encounter him in the polls.

Speaking at a meeting at the Home Ministry on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said he still had over a decade left and criticised all who had spread fake news about this health.

“I feel shocked at the manner at which my health has been blown out of proportion. How weak have my opposition become? Rather than saying they’ll beat me in the coming election, they say that they wish I was dead. Such a petty mentality they have,” said PM Oli.

The prime minister said that he knew that the next elections were going to be tough and that he was ready for the challenge. He further stated that he had to announce that he was healthy because he did not want to disappoint his haters who wanted him dead.
