Katha Ghera Production is all set to stage Play the System on June 20 at Kausi Theatre, Teku, Kathmandu, marking its sixth anniversary.

Play the System, directed by Akanchha Karki, is an adaptation of Theresa Rebeck’s What We Are Up Against. This play satirizes the sexism that takes place in the workplace.

The play features actors Eelum Dixit, Ranjana Bhattarai, Rishikesh Bashyal, Roshani Syangbo, and Suraj Malla.

“The play is a satire on the patriarchal system and misogynistic consciousness,” said Karki. “I can empathize with all the characters in this play.”

Play the System will run through July 15 every day at 5:15 pm at Kausi Theatre, Kathmandu, except on Tuesdays. There will be an additional show on Saturdays at 1:00 pm.
