One more Nepali died in the Russia-Ukraine war

One more Nepali has died in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Sundar Moktan of Rasuwa Naukunda Rural Municipality-5, who enlisted in the Russian army has died. He was 32.

Village Chairperson Nurbu Sangwo Ghale informed that the family has received the news of Moktan’s death. The news of his death, who joined the Russian army last August, reached his family on December 28, 2023. According to Ghale, the friends who served the Russian army alongside the deceased Moktan sent the news of his death to the family.

Village Vice President, Chandra Bahadur Galan said that the photos of his death were received from Russia only three days ago. “One of the Russian commanders has sent the photos of the deceased to the family,” he said.

The deceased is a former Nepali Army. He is survived by his wife, mother, a son and a daughter.
