A local in Phulbasti, Godawari municipality-4 of Kailali district in Sudurpaschim province died in an explosion on Sunday afternoon. The victim has been identified as Nara Bahadur BK, in his mid-30s.
Sudeep Giri, the chief of the Kailali District Police Office, says he has sent a police team to the incident site. Locals inform that BK had found a copper-like material in his neighbourhood, which exploded later.
Giri says further investigation is underway and details of the incident will be revealed only after that.
