Oli’s Singapore mission: Improving renal function by decreasing antibodies

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu, August 22

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s personal physician Dr Divya Singh says Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be treated in Singapore with an objective of improving the function of his kidneys by decreasing antibodies.

Amidst various speculations about Oli’s health, Dr Singh issued a press release a few minutes before Oli’s departure from the Tribhuvan International Airport and informed that a recent medical test at Singapore’s National University Hospital had found that antibodies related to kidneys are more than needed in Oli’s body.

Just days before Oli’s visit to the island country three weeks ago, Dr Singh had told Onlinekhabar that Oli was visiting Singapore for rest more than treatment. Since then, authorities had not issued any statement about Oli’s health officially.

She informs that Oli will be treated by an experts’ team at the same hospital whereas some Nepali doctors will also participate in the process.

Dr Singh has said she will inform the media whenever new significant information about his health condition will be revealed in Singapore.
