Kathmandu, March 5
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s health is improving gradually, according to Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel who visited the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital to see Oli this morning.
Oli had undergone kidney transplantation at the hospital on Wednesday. Currently, he is in medical observation in the hospital.
“The doctors attending him told me that they also served a cup of tea to the PM this morning,” Pokharel told journalists after the meeting, adding, “His health is gradually improving.”
The hospital, however, has not issued any statement about Oli’s health officially. It has been learned that the hospital would issue the daily update at 4 pm. The hospital has already informed that the transplanted organ has already begun to work.
