Kathmandu, August 12
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned home after concluding his weeklong trip to Singapore. It has been said that Oli visited the island country for some health checkups.
After landing at the Kathmandu airport on Monday afternoon, Oli, however, refused to speak with journalists about his health. “You will learn after a few days,” he briefly told them.
He also refused to receive the salutes from a Nepal Army troop citing it was an unofficial visit.
Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel, ministers and leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party were present at the airport to receive the prime minister.
