Oli returning home tonight

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli waves as he returns home from UNGA, in Kathmandu, on Friday, October 4, 2018.

Kathmandu, May 15

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is returning home after wrapping up a weeklong visit to Vietnam and Cambodia, on Wednesday evening.

During Oli’s visit to these countries, Nepal signed various agreements with their governments to promote bilateral trade and other aspects of the relations.

The prime minister is of the opinion that his visit to both the countries was successful as it is the first time that a Nepali PM visited the small Southeast Asian countries.

Oli had left Kathmandu on May 9.

He is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, chief political advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai, lawmakers, officials of the National Planning Commission and various ministries.

Likewise, some nongovernment organisations and media had also sent their representatives.
