NRNA asks people to work as volunteers for development of model village in Laprak

Kathmandu, January 26

Non-Resident Nepalis Association has appealed members of the public to work with it as volunteers for construction of a model settlement in Laprak, which suffered huge damage in the April 25 mega quake.

NRNA is constructing around 600 houses in the quake-ravaged village. With the cost of constructing going up, it has requested interested people to work as volunteers. It has called interested ones to fill up forms if they are ready to mobilise in Laprak by the first week of Falgun (in about 15 days). NRNA has called all to join hands for reconstruction of the country.

NRNA President Shesh Ghale requested people and organisations to work with NRNA for the success of this historic and symbolic project. NRNA plans to complete the development of the model settlement in Laprak within the month of Asoj (about eight months from now).
