‘No heavy rainfall in Nepal before weekend’

Meteorologists have said heavy rainfall is unlikely across the country in the next three days. However, the monsoon waves are still active, and they are likely to cause sporadic rainfall, they warn.

Ganga Nagarkoti, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division, says, “The chances of heavy and incessant rainfall are slim for the next three days.”

Meanwhile, the effects of the monsoon waves are gradually shifting southward, according to the vision.

Some districts of Province 1, Gandaki, Province 5, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim received rainfall this morning, according to Nagarkoti. Likewise, rainfall is likely in Province 5 and Sudurpaschim this afternoon.
