Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Deepak Kumar Sah, elected from Sunsari-4, has been recommended for appointment as the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
The recommendation letter has already reached the President’s Office at Shital Niwas.
Under the constitutional provision, the President appoints ministers on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Accordingly, Prime Minister Balen Shah recommended Sah to fill the ministerial post that became vacant earlier today following the resignation of Gauri Kumari Yadav.
According to the President’s Office, Sah will take the oath of office and secrecy at 5:30 pm today.
