Nepal’s Covid-19 tally crosses 100-mark with two Kapilvastu cases

Kathmandu, May 8

With the identification of two new coronavirus positive cases in Kapilvastu district of southwestern Nepal on Thursday night, the number of total Covid-19 cases has reached 101 in the country, informs the Ministry of Health and Population.

Of them, 22 cases have achieved recovery, though three of them tested positive again.

The ministry’s joint spokesperson Sameer Kumar Adhikari says two young men, aged 16 and 22 respectively, in Kapilvastu district tested positive in the tests held at National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu today.

The ministry says both of them are in normal health conditions and under medical supervision.
