Nepali Congress to train its cadres in three provinces

Kathmandu, August 12

The main opposition party Nepali Congress has decided to launch a training campaign targeting its cadres in three provinces of the country.

The party says it will train general convention representatives in Gandaki, Province 5 and Karnali from August 16 to 23.

During the sessions, top leaders of the party will train the cadres on the party’s organisational structure, party statute and its features, political and financial documents, opinions about other political forces, the party’s evaluation of the current Nepal Communist Party-led government and the cadres’ communications with the public among others, according to the party’s Central Policy, Research and Training Academy.

Party president Sher Bahadur Deuba will inaugurate provincial meetings of the cadres in Pokhara, Bhairahawa, and Birendranagar respectively. Senior leaders including Ram Chandra Paudel will facilitate the sessions.
