Bhaktapur, December 24
A sub-inspector of Nepal Police was found dead in Sipadol in Suryabinayak Municipality on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Balkrishna Upadhyay Ghimire, 44, a sub-inspector working at Police Headquarters in Naxal.
He was found dead in his bedroom by Bhaktapur Police, said SP Bed Bista.
The cause of his death has not been revealed.
Following the news of Bista’s death, a team, which included an investigation officer from the Jagati police range, swiftly reached the scene.
Bhaktapur Police has confirmed that ongoing investigations are being conducted to gather more information and insights into the incident.
