Kathmandu, May 24
The Ministry of Health and Population says the number of Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 603 as of Sunday afternoon.
The ministry’s spokesperson Bikas Devkota said 19 new cases were confirmed since the latest update issued by the ministry on Saturday evening.
Of them, 87 have achieved recovery and have been discharged, according to him. Today, seven persons have been discharged from the Narayani Hospital in Birgunj and 10 from the Butwal-based Covid-19-dedicated hospital.
So far, the outbreak has reached 42 districts of all seven provinces.
