Nepal Covid-19 tally hits 5,335

Kathmandu, June 13

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has crossed 5,300 as of Saturday afternoon.

In his daily press briefing, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwar Gautam said the country recorded 273 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 5,335.

So far, nearly 1,000 people have achieved recovery whereas 18 have died. Gautam informed the country reported two Covid-19 deaths in the past 24 hours, one each in Bara and Parsa districts of Province 2.

The disease has spread across 72 districts of the country.
