Kathmandu, June 3
The Ministry of Health and Population says the country has recorded the ninth Covid-19 death in the Country.
In his daily press briefing in Kathmandu this afternoon, the ministry’s spokesperson Bikas Devkota said a 76-year-old man undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital died. He was a permanent resident of Dolakha.
Meanwhile, the country’s Covid-19 tally has hit 2,300 as of 4:30 pm on Wednesday.
Devkota said 201 new cases were confirmed in various parts of the country in the past 24 hours.
So far, 278 people have achieved recovery and been discharged, according to him.
Meanwhile, the virus has spread across 64 districts of the country, Devkota informed.
