Nepal Covid-19 tally: 94 new cases, 55 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 17

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 275,518 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 94 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 2,781 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 224,293 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 954 cases are active while 1.6 million Nepalis have been vaccinated.

Of the total cases so far, 271,550 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,014 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 55 people have recovered whereas no deaths have been reported. 

Over 40 people are quarantined across the country.
