Kathmandu, March 8
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 274,810 as of Monday afternoon.
The ministry says 89 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 4,399 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 197,235 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 872 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 270,927 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,011 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 41 people have achieved recoveries whereas 1 death was reported.
Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
