Nepal Covid-19 tally: 81 new cases, 62 recoveries, 2 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 27

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 274,065 as of Saturday afternoon.

The ministry says 81 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 2,824 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 160,404 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 967 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 270,325 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,773 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 62 people have been discharged whereas two deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
