Nepal Covid-19 tally: 79 new cases, 75 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 14

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 275,310 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 79 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,311 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 218,722 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 895 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 271,401 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,014 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 75 people have been discharged whereas no deaths have been reported. 

Over 40 people are quarantined across the country.
