Nepal Covid-19 tally: 78 new cases, 82 recoveries, 1 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 28

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 274,143 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 78 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 2,532 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 162,936 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 962 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 270,407 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,773 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 82 people have been discharged whereas one death has been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
