Nepal Covid-19 tally: 87 new cases, 62 recoveries, 1 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 3

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 274,381 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 87 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,399 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 173,511 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 766 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 270,605 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,010 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 62 people have been discharged whereas no deaths have been reported. However, 233 deaths were reported from the past on Wednesday.

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
