Kathmandu, March 9
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 274,869 as of Tuesday afternoon.
The ministry says 59 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 2,715 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 199,950 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 870 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 270,987 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,012 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 60 people have achieved recoveries whereas 1 death was reported.
Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
