Kathmandu, April 13
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 280,984 as of Tuesday afternoon.
The ministry says 460 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 4,386 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 321,670 people have been tested in the country.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, the government also conducted 817 antigen tests, of which, 57 tested positive.
As of today, 3,608 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 274,318 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,058 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 153 people have been discharged whereas five deaths were reported.
Over 80 people are quarantined across the country.
