Nepal Covid-19 tally: 348 new cases, 441 recoveries, 4 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, January 19

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 267,992 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 348 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,956 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 21,714 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 3,764 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 262,259 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,969 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 441 people have been discharged whereas four deaths have been reported. 

Over 150 people are quarantined across the country.
