Nepal Covid-19 tally: 332 among 4,006 test positive

Kathmandu, April 8

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 279,100 as of Thursday afternoon.

The ministry says 332 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,006 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 302,173 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 2,454 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 273,608 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,038 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 79 people have been discharged whereas no death was reported. 

Over 75 people are quarantined across the country.
