Kathmandu, April 5
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 278,210 as of Monday afternoon.
The ministry says 266 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 4,536 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 289,824 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 1,832 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 273,342 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,036 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 102 people have been discharged whereas four deaths have been reported.
Over 60 people are quarantined across the country.
