Nepal Covid-19 tally: 260 among 4,243 test positive

Kathmandu, April 6

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 278,470 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 260 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,243 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 294,067 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,979 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 273,445 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,036 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 113 people have been discharged whereas no was reported. 

Over 60 people are quarantined across the country.
