Kathmandu, April 22
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 292,152 as of Thursday afternoon.
The ministry says 2,362 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 10,001 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 379,402 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 12,690 cases are active.
In the past 24 hours, 252 people have been discharged whereas five deaths were reported.
Of the total cases so far, 276,345 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 3,117 died, according to the ministry.
Over 80 people are quarantined across the country.
