Nepal Covid-19 tally: 199 new cases, 260 recoveries, 3 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 7

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 271,925 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 199 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 2,251 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 93,417 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,815 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 268,072 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,038 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 260 people have been discharged whereas three deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
