Nepal Covid-19 tally: 188 new cases, 77 recoveries, 0 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 23

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 276,244 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 188 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,032 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 245,030 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,128 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 272,097 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,019 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 77 people have been discharged whereas no deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
