Nepal Covid-19 tally: 176 new cases, 117 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 4

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 277,944 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 176 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,456 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 285,288 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,672 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 273,240 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,032 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 117 people have been discharged whereas one death has been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
