Nepal Covid-19 tally: 162 new cases, 59 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 31

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 277,309 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 162 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,919 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 271,327 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,493 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 272,786 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,030 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 59 people have been discharged whereas no deaths were reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
