Nepal Covid-19 count is 11,755

Kathmandu, June 26

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 11,755 as of Friday afternoon.

In his daily press briefing in Kathmandu, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said 593 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

Three of the infected are in Kathmandu Valley.

Of total cases, 2,698 have achieved recovery whereas 27 died, according to him. Today, 48 persons were discharged after recovery.

The disease has spread across 76 districts of the country.

In various parts of the country, around 72,000 have been quarantined waiting to be tested.
