Nepal Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel held a meeting with Indian Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth at the Nepal Army headquarters in Kathmandu on Monday.
According to the Nepal Army headquarters, the two discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations between the two countries.
Seth arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday at the invitation of General Sigdel. Upon his arrival, he laid a wreath at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel and later received a guard of honour at the Nepal Army headquarters.
Seth is also scheduled to receive the honorary rank insignia of General of the Nepal Army from President Ram Chandra Paudel at a special ceremony on Monday.
