Kathmandu, November 23
Two persons died in a hit and run incident in the Nawalparasi district of Lumbini minutes after Monday midnight.
The victims have been identified as Durga Kaphle (26) and Tikaram Kunwar (40), residents of Sunawal-10. The vehicle hitting the duo at around 12:30 am is yet to be identified.
Seriously injured in the accident, the duo breathed their last at the Parasi-based District Hospital at around 1 am today, according to police. The Sunawal Area Police Office says it has launched a manhunt to nab the driver.
